Pastor David Okoye says:
THE GOOD NEWS
‘’The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God’’ 1 John 5:4(MSG)
In John 10:10 our Lord Jesus tells us unambiguously what He brought to humanity “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The MSG rendering tells “…I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of". The gospel is good news meaning that it is news that seems too good to be true. Little wonder 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells “but as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nether have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”. The MSG rendering tells “… No one’s ever seen, or heard anything like this, never so much as imagined anything quite like it - what God has arranged for those who love him”.
The earth and everything that’s in the earth are functioning for you if you are born again. The reason is because the earth is operating by God’s instruction; it can’t work against what God has said (Hebrews 11:3). The same word in our opening text tells us simply, “the one who wins is the Godchild” The Godchild has got to realize that the progress and success of his life is not dependent on his physical or mental strength but on his identification with the word of God. Learn to simply believe in the word of God, because if you can only believe it and take God by his word, you will be the biggest success life has seen.
God’s word comes to us to ensure our productivity; it goes forth to make us bring forth results. Take up God’s word for your generation; it is what makes you God-like. For this reason Jesus proclaimed “you are Gods, unto whom the word of God is come.” John 10:34-36.
DECLARATION:
I have overcome the world, because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I am the biggest success the world has seen, because am standing on the indisputable word of God.
