NEVER GIVE UP ON THE WORD
"he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in Faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that what he had promised, he was able also to perform." Romans 4:20-21
Ever wondered why and how Abraham stood in faith without any doubt, why he never gave up on the promises of God? He could have easily accepted that maybe God wasn't really speaking to him, or that he was having hallucinations or something else but instead Scriptures showed us that he never considered the possibility of the promise of God on his life failing, but was fully persuaded: Abraham was convinced beyond any doubt. James 1:6-7 tells why Abraham was successful "...for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord." showing us that the one that will receive from the Lord, is the one that has no doubt about the word of God. The word of God is full of power but many make it ineffective in their lives by their doubt. So many give up on the word with time but this was not the case with Abraham. He believed beyond time and reason. The Godchild should know of a surety that the promises of God are yea and amen as God cannot go bac on his word.
How then can a Godchild ensure his stand on the word: Abraham showed us the way "he staggered not at the promises of God... But was strong in faith, GIVING GLORY TO GOD". Little wonder thanksgiving is a necessity in receiving from God. When the word of God comes to you, don't just hear it and say amen but receive it with joy knowing that he is able to perform it. Don't stop there: start thanking him for what he has given because he has already given it to you, you've already got it. As you wake up every day, give glory to God for the blessings you've received with a heart of joy and love. With joy you will draw water from the wells of your salvation.
DECLARATION:
I stand strong in faith, giving glory to God. God's promises to me are yea and amen. I refuse to stagger or falter. I'm hanging on the word. Glory!

The new creation is the biggest success the world has ever seen. Reason being that the new creation is born of the most high God and we’ve come to know through the word of God that whatsoever is born of God cannot fail “for whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith” 1 john 5:4 AMP. Glory! Are you born of God? If YES, then you have overcome the world, you are a victor without choice. The MSG rendering tells “Every God-begotten person conquers the world’s ways...” this was a declaration of fact; it wasn’t a guess or assumption.
Notice the AMP didn’t say whoever but whatever, letting us know that whether animate or inanimate, once an object is born of God, he is a success. But the place of his success is on the basis of his faith. Knowing that “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” ( Romans 10:17), the Godchild has to ensure his Faith by the word. Our opening verse tells that God sends his commandment upon the earth and in the earth it runs swiftly meaning that for every instruction God gives, the earth works together to produce it.
In Isaiah 55:10-11 the Lord says “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: so shall my word be that goeth out of my mouth: it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”. You’ve got to recognise the word of God and start taking advantage of it.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil... Acts 10:38 (NIV)
The Amplified rendering shows us a deeper truth in our text above. It says “how God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power] the devil, for God was with Him".
Every of God’s children need to come to the realisation that resident in him is the Holy Ghost meaning that he has the dynamic ability to bring about a change in every situation. Another translation says “Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth anointed of God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the devil. He was able to do all this because God was with Him”(MSG)
The God child is not one who should be concerned with how he is going to achieve all God wants him to do. He is one that should be more concerned about the presence of the Holy Spirit in his life Little wonder Romans 8:11 tells us “but if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you”. He is our treasure in earthen vessels. The Holy Ghost enables the child of God to will and to do of God’s good pleasure,(Philippians 2:13). You have the intrinsic ability to cause the biggest change in your environment and the world. Constantly stir up the gift of God that is in you and live in the realities of his enabling power.
DECLARATION:
I stir up the gift of God in me, I live in the realities of his enabling power. I cause changes in my world and give Glory to God.

“But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.” Proverbs 4:18 (RSV)
Many especially in our day seem to think that it’s ok for one to be in the middle ground in life. They find solace in the fact that though they don’t have a good life or have good virtues; they are not entirely bad either. And unconsciously many have adopted this thinking pattern in their walk with God. But it is imperative for the Godchild to know that our Christian life was designed to continually know progress this means that God designed our lives as his children to continually know progress and increase. 2 Corinthians 3:18 refers to it as going “from glory to glory”.
If this is God’s desire for our lives, how then can the Godchild have it manifested in his life? In 3 John 2, God begins to show us the way. It says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”. The AMP rendering says “beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers". This was God showing us how to continually advance in life; it is dependent on the progress of your soul.
The Godchild that does not ensure the prosperity of his soul and spirit will not make it far in life. Little wonder Proverbs 4:23 says to “keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” another translation says “keep vigilant over your heart; that’s where life starts”(MSG). Choose to improve your Christian life and not maintain it. God didn’t design your life to be at equilibrium, He designed it to shine brighter and brighter. He didn’t place a limit to our success and increase, so keep shining and progressing till the day of our Lord.
DECLARATION:
I constantly know progress all the days of my life, constantly increasing in greatness. I am progressing in every aspect of my life.

MANIFEST THE GOD LIFE

MANIFEST THE GOD LIFE
“The earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19.
The AMP rendering shows us a deeper truth in our text above. It says “For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. Manifestation here means to show, bring forth to reality, demonstration or appearance. This is the life you’ve been called to live; a constant demonstration of Zoe. Verse 21 tells us Why: “that nature (creation) itself will be set free from it’s bondage to decay and corruption [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children”. All of creation are in bondage to decay and corruption, this is the reason why everything ends in death but through the Godchild, they are liberated to glory.
This is the season we are in, when men will manifest the God life. 1 John 3:8 tells the reason for the manifestation of a Son of God “that he might destroy the works of the devil”. The Amp rendering says to “…to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done]. Glory! What a life the Godchild has. When the devil runs rampage in an environment, causing sickness, strife, disease, failure or even death, just like MSG translation of where we read says “The Son of God entered the scene to abolish the devil’s ways”, enter the scene and abolish, eradicate and obliterate his works.
Be just like Jesus who was anointed of God and went about doing good. (Acts 10:38). There is a demand on you to show case the life of God in you. The manifestation of the life of God in us will be by the choice of those that have received that life. If you don’t choose to manifest the God life, it will be dormant in you. You are the son of the most high God, you’ve got the gene of deity. Express it today.

Prevail By Knowledge

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12.
Isaiah 54:17 tells “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed” (ESV), “No weapon forged against you shall succeed" (NIV), showing that the devil has many devices fashioned against the Godchild. If the Godchild does not become sensitive to identifying these devices, the devil will get him one way or another. For this reason 2 Corinthians 2:11 says “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”. The ESV rendering says “so that we would not be outwitted by Satan, for we are not unaware of his schemes”.
Our opening text tells that the biggest challenge a child of God will face is against principalities and powers. Principalities refer to Principles and abilities. Power is synonymous to Authority and influence. You need to recognise that if a child of God isolates the place of God's principles in his life, and seeks to work it by his God given authority alone, he won’t achieve much in life. It would be like a man trying to change the television channel without putting on the television, it won’t work.
You don’t wrestle with these powers with your physical strength. You’ve got to have knowledge. Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” and in 1 Corinthians 2:12 scripture tells “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God”. Through knowledge you are delivered into your inheritance. A child of God that can identify what God has done for him and depend on the word of God concerning him is the one that will overcome in life.

I am not ignorant. I know my rights and privileges in Christ through His Word. I am walking in Authority setting things right.

THE GOOD NEWS
‘’The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God’’ 1 John 5:4(MSG)
In John 10:10 our Lord Jesus tells us unambiguously what He brought to humanity “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The MSG rendering tells “…I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of". The gospel is good news meaning that it is news that seems too good to be true. Little wonder 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells “but as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nether have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”. The MSG rendering tells “… No one’s ever seen, or heard anything like this, never so much as imagined anything quite like it - what God has arranged for those who love him”.
The earth and everything that’s in the earth are functioning for you if you are born again. The reason is because the earth is operating by God’s instruction; it can’t work against what God has said (Hebrews 11:3). In John 10:10 our Lord Jesus tells us unambiguously what He brought to humanity “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The MSG rendering tells “…I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of". The gospel is good news meaning that it is news that seems too good to be true. Little wonder 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells “but as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nether have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”. The MSG rendering tells “… No one’s ever seen, or heard anything like this, never so much as imagined anything quite like it - what God has arranged for those who love him”.
The earth and everything that’s in the earth are functioning for you if you are born again. The reason is because the earth is operating by God’s instruction; it can’t work against what God has said (Hebrews 11:3). “The invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by things that are made, even his eternal power and God head...” Romans 1:20
As the Godchild grows in the Lord, he gets to a place in his life when the reality of our opening text is evident to Him. He discovers that “For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defence or justification]”AMP. This is where he discovers the word of God in the things around him.
Psalms 1:2 AMP tells ‘day after day pours forth speech; night after night shows forth knowledge” The MSG rendering puts it thus “Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening.” Showing us that every day has something to offer the Godchild if he could only notice it. Little wonder Hebrews 11:3 (AMP) tells “by faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible”.
Because the earth was fashioned, put in order, and equipped for its purpose by the word, it cannot but proclaim God in everything and at every time. This is the reason why when a man becomes a new creation, he cannot lack knowledge, be backward or at a disadvantage in life, as everything around him works together to dispose knowledge to him.

"For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee" .Isaiah 60:2
Many in challenging circumstances seem not to remember who God has made them. Others in seeking to belong go out of course. This ought not to be you. Realize that as the new creation, you are a gift to your generation. You don’t beg people to relate with you, or let choose you, instead you choose your friends. 2 Corinthians 6:14 tells “be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?" Some Christians make a lot of compromise in their faith in the bid to balance their relationship with God and their relationship with others but there can be no balance, you are either in light or you are not. For “light shineth in darkness; and darkness comprehended it not” John 1:5
You’ve got to be the light that will shine in the midst of darkness. God has placed us in different facet of the world as his light. Scripture informs us “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the lord shall arise upon thee , and his glory shall be seen upon thee” Isaiah 60:2. In the midst of it all, the child of God has to shine brighter, because the thicker the darkness the brighter the light shines. This is the generation where there has to be a clear distinction from the believer and the unbeliever. The proceeding verse of where we read said “and the gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” As the light of the world, you have got to reprove every work of darkness.

I refuse to degenerate my life with the works of darkness, I constantly reprove them cause I am the light of the world.

"That he might sanctify and cleanse it by the washing of water by the word". Ephesians 5:26
Bathing is compulsory and necessary in our time. It is often said that cleanliness is next to Godliness, reason being that neatness/cleanliness is a prerequisite in drawing close to God. We see this in Hebrews 10:22 that says "let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water". The Godchild should not be so concerned with serving God and being holy for the Lord that he forgets to ensure his environment, clothing and body represents God. Over the years, man has come to discover that being aseptic is key to living in health.
When a man keeps a dirty environment, it doesn't take long, he falls sick as he is constantly exposed to pathogens. Our opening text shows us a deeper truth. There is a washing that the Godchild needs aside the washing of water; this is the washing of the word. In our day to day interactions, the devil always seeks to contaminate the spiritual life of a Christian because he has come to discover that it retards the spiritual growth of that Christian. If the Godchild does not wash (sanctify) himself with the word of God, his spirit man falls sick.
Sanctification is a process God has designed for a Christian to avoid the contamination of the devil. You sanctify yourself with the word of God. A Christian, who gives himself to the word of God, is continually alienated from the stains of the devil. The word of God is the most potent cleansing agent, its cleansing ability transcends the body, penetrating into the mind and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). Give yourself to the word today; it has the power to recreate you.
DECLARATION:
I completely give myself to the word of God today. I maintain a clean environment physically and spiritually and I am constantly transformed and sanctified.

EXERCISE YOUR AUTHORITY
"And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, what manner of man is this, that even the wind and sea obey him." Mark 4:41
The earth walk of Jesus heralded the birth of the Zoe life to humanity. During His earthly ministry, He showed the life of the new creation. The incident in our opening verse caught my attention (Mark 4: 36-41) "and when they had sent away the multitude, they took him as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other small ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake Him, and say unto Him, master carest thou not that we perish?" Firstly, it is practically impossible for one to be asleep in the midst of a great storm that threatened to destroy the ship. The fact that Jesus was asleep shows that He had a peace that surpassed every understanding.
"And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, peace, be still. And the wind ceases, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, what manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?" Oh what a display of authority it was. Did you notice that while others responded in fear, He didn't go around talking about the situation but spoke directly to it? Little wonder He told us " ...if ye have faith as little as a mustard seed, you would say to this mountain, be thou removed to yonder place and it will be done." signifying that the same authority He exercised, we could do same with faith. We have the authority to command a change in any situation we might find ourselves. Remember the authority He came to earth with, He gave to us. Don't settle for a beggarly Christian life, exercise your authority.

I am exercising my God given authority over life's challenges. Glory to God.

TAKE YOUR INHERITANCE
"Praise be to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing." Ephesians 1:3 (NIV)
The Godchild is blessed beyond measure. For this reason 2 Corinthians 4:15 tells "for all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God". The blessings of the new creation are not a disputable fact. His blessings were ordained before time. It is out of God's intention for His children to fail or be fruitless. The children of God ought to be the most productive people on earth reason being that they have an upper hand and advantage in life.
Romans 8:16-17 tells "The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ...". An heir is someone who inherits or is designated to inherit the property of another. If you are an heir of God and joint heirs with Christ, then you have an inheritance. Whenever an inheritance is in play, it tells that there was a previous owner who is no longer in the picture. This was God, who in the form of man came and conquered the world, took the victory and even the keys of hell and death.
He got the victory for our sake, that when we become sons, we might enjoy the things that are freely given to us. He bottled up all the victories in the Holy Ghost and sent Him into us. Ephesians 1:14 (AMP) tells "that [spirit] is the guarantee of our inheritance [the first fruit, the pledge, the foretaste, the down payment on our heritage], in anticipation of it's full redemption and our acquiring [complete] possession of it- to the praise of His glory". Meaning that the Holy Ghost is your helper, to unveil and help you discover your inheritance. God gave us the power to take our inheritance. Do so today. Don't let the devil run rampage on what is yours,take your place. It is often said that to whom much is given, much is expected. There is a level of fruitfulness God demands from our hands by reason of who He has made us.

I am fully aware of my inheritance in Christ. Therefore, I walk in victory always, I am more than a conqueror, because greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.
